Patrick Roy, Mario Lemieux, Luc Robitaille and Ray Bourque.
These stickers were made by Panini and inserted in Durivage and Diana Bakery products (loaves of bread) in the Province of Quebec in Canada. The writing on the cards is primarily written in French. The players featured in this set were all born French-Canadian. These cards are very sought after as most collectors do not even know that these exist. You had to buy an awful lot of bread to try and assemble the whole set. They were the standard size of hockey cards. The back of each of the cards has a back and white outline background of Patrick Roy. The most prominent players in the set were Patrick Roy, Ray Bourque, Mario Lemieux. There was an album made for this series that not many collectors know to exist. Also, there was a Patrick Roy signed card randomly inserted into the bread loaves which Beckett says, was only limited to 500. This has not been confirmed. The Roy autograph card is valued at $125.
The size of each sticker was about 8.9 cm X 6.4 cm (3.5 in X 2.5 in). There was an album made for this set which featured: Ray Bourque, Guy Carbonneau, Steve Duchesne, Michel Goulet Michel, Patrick Roy and Denis Savard.
Currently building this set. It will be available shortly. Please check back soon.
